Did he look that stupid? He couldn’t be fooled; especially not with a trick like that. A trick he used every time his unwanted emotions surfaced. He would say he’s tired. That he’s exhausted. It’s not like it was such a common act to ask him what was wrong.

Yet he knew well what he was trying to do. He was clearly bothered. Something wasn’t right. Hinata was depressed, wasn’t he? It was absurd, he was the one who kept telling him he was depressed and he shouldn’t run from it, but here he is now, surprised that he’s bailing like a child. What surprised him more was that it…kind of hurt. To see him, the one who always smiled at him, frown and cry.

Don’t even try to lie to me.” He said, tone stern and straight to the point. He wouldn’t stand for objections. Swallowing, he took a hesitant step closer to him, and took out a tissue from his pocket, to hand it over to him. That’s the least he could do. “..What’swrong? What happened? Did someone hurt you?”

He wasn’t sure why he was so riled up about the idea that someone hurt him. Hinata was annoying, sure, but…how dare someone cause him so much pain that he cried like this?

Shit. He saw right through it. Ah, fine. That was probably bound to happen anyways. Plus, Namito is smart. Way smarter than almost anyone Hinata knew. Of course it would be him to see through his idiotic ideas and excuses. Whatever. It didn’t matter now. He had  to tell the truth now.

Biting his lip, he fully lifted his head slowly from his hands so the other could see his entire face. His formerly bright blue eyes were glazed and bloodshot, and almost his entire face was red and tear-streaked. What a mess. He let out a small sigh and grabbed at the offered tissue, wiping at his face, getting rid of any tears that might’ve still been going down. Finally, after a few awkward seconds of silence and wiping, he spoke.

“No…no one hurt me. Uh, I just…I’m really tired. And that’s why I was crying. When I’m tired, I lose all control of my emotions and…stuff like this happens.”

Well, he wasn’t exactly lying. But, hopefully, Namito would believe him this time.
